Snow in Texas!!

We couldn't believe it but we just had a record snowfall for Dallas. I believe almost 12 inches fell. I would say at the highest our backyard was 6-8 inches. It was absolutely beautiful!!! The first pictures is one of our street. The trees were amazing. Unfortunately by the second day, our street looks like a storm blew threw. There are huge limbs and some trees down everywhere. :( We lost at least one tree in our backyard and some huge limbs came down. We were lucky not to lose power because several people in our neighborhood did.



Gavin's first snow day! We didn't have the winter outfit for it, but he still enjoyed it. This is actually a picture from the second day. We took video from the first day but realized on the second day that we didn't have any pictures. :)

Since we were going a little stir crazy on a third day of snow in the backyard we decided to get out of the house and finally get our first haircut. Gavin didn't want to sit in the chair alone but in my lap he didn't fuss at all. He let Meshelle cut away. Of course, we didn't want to lose all of the curl so we just got a trim.

We hope this finds everyone well! We are having a ball watching this little boy grow up before our eyes. He's almost 18 months and time has gone by so fast!!
